Family-house clearance
Beds, sofas, wardrobes and boxes removed from agreed rooms while retained and inherited items remain marked.
Family homes, workshops and deep garden storage
Enfield rubbish removal can span several rooms, a garage or workshop and storage at the end of a long garden. We assess every zone, heavy item and access route before attendance.

Enfield property survey
Family homes may have ordinary room furniture at the front and tools, shelving, machinery or years of boxed storage in a detached garage. Long gardens, narrow side routes and rear access roads change how those contents reach the vehicle. Unknown liquids or connected equipment can also make an apparently simple garage pile unsuitable for general collection.
List each room, garage, workshop, shed and garden group. Photograph the contents and the full route, including drive, side gate, path and vehicle position. Give dimensions and likely weight for heavy equipment. Label retained family belongings and identify anything connected, fixed or uncertain.

Rear roads and long plots
Show rear-road restrictions, garage doors, drive gates and the route between them. If access is only from the house, provide side-passage width, surfaces and distance. A rear door does not guarantee suitable vehicle access. Keep gates unlocked and paths clear on collection day.
Heavy equipment must be freestanding, safely disconnected and capable of moving through the route. Our garage clearance service covers accepted loose contents, not fixed machinery, vehicle fluids or structural work.
Enfield clearance zones
Beds, sofas, wardrobes and boxes removed from agreed rooms while retained and inherited items remain marked.
Tools, shelving and freestanding equipment assessed for weight, separate from fuel, oils, paint, batteries and cylinders.
Shed contents, outdoor furniture and green waste reached along a measured passage or rear route.
Enfield zone matrix
| Zone | Typical contents | Access evidence | Separate or confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main house | Beds, sofa, wardrobes and boxes | Floors, stairs, front steps and drive | Valuables and retained furniture |
| Garage | Tools, shelving and household storage | Front or rear door, drive and item weight | Fuel, oils, paint, batteries and cylinders |
| Workshop | Bench, cabinets and freestanding equipment | Dimensions, weight, disconnection and route | Fixed machinery, wiring and chemicals |
| Garden or shed | Outdoor furniture, tools and cuttings | Gate, path, surface and distance | Soil, chemicals and fixed structure |
Fuel, chemicals, paint, gas cylinders, asbestos, clinical waste and unidentified liquids must remain separate. Heavy equipment and dense masonry require explicit assessment.
A building-by-building inventory
Start at the rear boundary and work towards the house, numbering each structure as you go. Take an overall image, then record model plates, dimensions and estimated mass for substantial equipment. Say who will isolate power, air or fuel supplies. Leave unlabelled drums closed and machinery in its normal position; a useful survey never requires an unsafe move.
We turn that building map into a collection sequence, considering accepted contents, lifting method and travel back to the vehicle. The property contact reviews the sequence and price with the crew before work begins. A forgotten lean-to or locked store is a separate addition. Structural removal, specialist lifting gear and controlled substances are not inferred from a general clearance request.
Record rooms, garage, workshop, sheds and garden groups.
Show roads, doors, drive, gates and longest carry.
Provide weight, dimensions and disconnection status.
Approve the complete scope and final quote.

The displayed figures help frame the likely scale, but workshop jobs are priced from the presented materials and handling plan. A long rear path, awkward machine geometry, two-person lifts, dismantling agreed in advance and the gap between garage and vehicle can matter more than floor area. The complete price is put to the client before loading.
Bagged aggregate, broken slabs and soil have their own weight calculation. Record the material and bag count and route suitable debris through builders clearance; do not bury it beneath light shed contents in the estimate.
Workshop safety
Record manufacturer details, dimensions, approximate weight and obvious lifting points for machinery where these can be seen safely. A competent person must isolate electricity, compressed air and fuel beforehand. Bolted benches, wired machines and services remain outside a loose-waste instruction. Put fuels, oils, chemical products, cells and cylinders in a clearly separated review area.
Indoors, clear personal papers from drawers and use a retained-items room rather than scattered labels where possible. House clearance can organise the domestic half of the address; accepted loose outdoor material belongs under garden clearance once the rear journey is fully described.

Enfield questions
Yes, when each zone, material group and route are included in the final inventory.
Acceptance requires weight, dimensions, disconnection and route details; fixed machinery is not assumed.
No. Keep fuels, oils, paint, chemicals, batteries and cylinders separate and declare them.
Photograph the road, garage door, gates, path, restrictions and full route to the loading position.
The route can be assessed when materials, doors and surfaces are shown. Keep dirty and sharp waste contained.
Safe electrical, fuel or air disconnection must be completed beforehand and is not assumed.
Send updated photographs because additional volume, weight and route may change the job.
