On collection day
Keep the communal route usable.
Move small personal items away from the carrying path, but do not stack heavy waste into an unstable pile. Confirm keys and lift access, and make sure neighbours can still use shared doors and corridors. If the quantity has changed since the photographs were sent, provide an updated view before the team travels.
The crew checks the presented load, confirms the final quote and begins loading only after approval. The immediate cleared area can be swept where practical; deep cleaning, repairs and removal of fixed fittings are separate tasks.

Can you collect from a flat when the lift must be reserved?
Yes, provided the arrangement is confirmed for the collection window. Tell us the lift size, floor and building contact, and explain the alternative route if the lift becomes unavailable.
Should furniture be left in the communal hallway?
No. Keep shared corridors and fire routes clear. The team can collect agreed items from inside the flat when safe access has been described.
Can you remove items from a basement room?
Usually, subject to safe stairs and handling. Photographs of the steps, door and outside route help us plan crew time and judge bulky pieces.
What happens if the load is larger than the photographs?
The scope and price may need to be revised. Send new images before attendance whenever another room, furniture item or group of bags is added.
Do you disconnect appliances?
No plumbing or electrical disconnection should be assumed. Arrange safe disconnection first, then identify the appliance, dimensions and route.
Can a collection take place without me?
It may be possible with authorised access, clearly marked items and a reachable person who can approve the final quote. Confirm the arrangement when booking.
